Malacañang hailed Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go’s son, Christian Lawrence, for ranking third in the October 2019 Certified Public Accountant licensure examinations with a rating of 89.50 percent.

Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo congratulated all 2,075 board passers of the CPA licensure exams but made special mention of Christian, who graduated summa cum laude from college at De La Salle University.

“The President and the Palace wish to convey their felicitations to all the 2,075 examinees who passed this year’s Certified Public Accountant Licensure examination,” Panelo said in a statement.

“The Palace joins President Rodrigo Roa Duterte in congratulating one of his administration’s strongest allies in Congress, Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go, as well as his son, Christian Lawrence Go, for the latter’s performance in the said examination,” he added.

Panelo pointed out that father and son were alike in such a way that while the younger Go ranked third in the licensure exams, the older Go finished third place in the Senate race.
