Pampanga inks pacts with 3 hospitals

San Fernando, Pampanga—The provincial government of Pampanga has entered into an agreement with three local hospitals to boost the health and social services of the local government units.

Governor Dennis Pineda signed the agreement with Catherine Jane Yap-Caylao, medical director of Apalit Doctor Hospital in Apalit; Dr. Dax Tidula, medical director of Rosario Memorial Hospital in Guagua; and Dr. Joseph Garcia, vice president of the Ancillary Service of the Dr. Amando L. Garcia Medical Center in Angeles City.

Under the agreement, the hospitals shall honor and admit all patients referred to by Pineda through guarantee letters.

The three hospitals will also provide necessary medical and diagnostic services including laboratory as well as complex medical and surgical procedures to the patients as stipulated in the agreement.

Pineda said the agreement will surely benefit patients specially the marginalized sectors and the senior citizens specially with the resurgence of diseases that affecting children.

Providing health and social benefits is one of the policies of the provincial government. 

The signing of the agreement was witnessed by the respective mayors of the municipalities and the Provincial Risk Reduction and Management Office head Angelina Blanco, Provincial Administrator Atty. Charlie Chua, Legal Officer Jerome Tubig.
