LPA brewing into ‘Marilyn’

A tropical depression is threatening to enter the country today o Friday morning.

The state weather bureau said once it enters the Philippine Area of Responsibility, the tropical depression would be named a“Marilyn.”

The tropical depression slightly intensified while moving in an east-northeastward direction, packing maximum sustained winds of 55 kms per hour near the center and gustiness up to 70 kph.

Its center was estimated at 1,495 kilometers east of the Visayas.
