Nazareth School of National University swept all five games in the Passerelle Division, while La Salle Greenhills-A accomplished the feat in the Small Basketeers Philippines to march into the semifinals of the Best Center’s twin tournaments over the weekend.
Nazareth School of NU routed La Salle Greenhills (2-2), 57-27, for its fifth straight win in the Passerelle, then saw San Sebastian College-Recoletos notch its first win in four games at the expense of winless Casimiro A. Ynares Sr. Memorial National High School, 68-34.
LSGH-A, however, made up for its other team’s loss by clinching its fourth straight win and the top semifinals seeding in Group A of the SBP Division with a 54-23 demolition of San Beda College (2-2).
College of San Benildo leveled its record at 2-2 with a 41-25 scuttling of Claret School (2-2) to make the semis.
Claret and San Beda fell into the semis consolation round of these twin tournaments sponsored by Milo and supported by Rain or Shine, Chris Sports, and SKLZ.
