Leadership change

The Association of Women Legislators Foundation Inc. ends the 17th Congress—with a thanksgiving get-together lunch on Monday—which marks the highest women membership to date. The fellowship of the 86-strong—nearly 29 percent women representation—signified the changing of the guard from outgoing AWLFI president and Meycauayan mayor-elect Linabelle Ruth Villarica to Interim President Deputy Speaker Rose Marie Arenas of the 3rd District of Pangasinan.
