Just another black ops

Truth once again prevailed over the massive campaign by several quarters to discredit not only President Duterte but also his family and the people close to him.

The Peter Joemel Advincula, alias Bikoy, expose is a well-funded and well-oiled black propaganda aimed at the Duterte family and the administration’s senatorial candidates in Monday’s election.

Surely, Advincula, along with Bikoy uploader Rodel Jayme, must have been paid with oodles and oodles of money that they are willing to risk imprisonment for a long time for sedition and cyber-libel.

Gladly, Senate President Tito Sotto and Sen. Ping Lacson have agreed to cancel indefinitely the Senate inquiry after both lawmakers found out that the Bikoy story is a mere figment of imagination by Advincula, who was jailed for several years in Bicol for multiple estafa cases.

It would not only be a waste of time and money had the senators pushed through with the investigation. They would also have done a disservice to the Filipino people.

Advincula duped the officers of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) by submitting an application for legal assistance and calling for a news conference to announce he is Bikoy.

Surprisingly, some intelligent (or shall I say stupid?) lawyers of IBP allowed him to hold the media meeting and parroted the fake news contained in the viral video entitled “Ang Totoong Narco-list.”

However, after sensing that the netizens are not buying Advincula’s recent statement, the IBP quickly turned down his request for legal aid claiming that Bikoy’s story has no merit and they denied having a hand in inviting the media in their office.

What a dumb excuse!

Hours after Advincula was out, reports came out that Bikoy is a notorious con-artist, jailed for four years in Leni Robredo’s hometown in Naga City for swindling. He also has pending cases of estafa, including illegal recruitment.

So, as it turned out, Bikoy is not a member of a syndicate turned whistleblower after all. Rather, he is an ex-convict who specializes in duping people, and making up tales for a fee.

And just like the other Duterte accusers in the past, this pseudo-whistleblower claims he had been a member of an illegal drugs syndicate headed by the former Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Bong Go, based in Misibis Bay resort in Albay with links to the Hong Kong triad.

One can easily tell that Bikoy’s story is based on a telenovela in primetime tv, and only the illiterates and young audiences would believe.
