OPPO secures 24% PH market share in last quarter of ‘18

The year 2019 marks the 5th year of OPPO’s entry to the Philippine market. 

F1 in the F Series was OPPO’s first model launching in Philippines back in 2016. As of today, OPPO’s F Series has accumulated over 2 million users. 

Based on dealers’ weekly reports, every F series model is the number one selling model within its price range in MX, Abenson, and other dealers. The F series is indeed one of the most popular smartphone models chosen by our Filipino users. 

This is particularly notable since 2018 saw continuous decline in global smartphone market sales. IDC data suggests that total global smartphone shipments dropped by 4.1% YoY.

 However, despite an overall sluggish market in 2018, OPPO bucked this trend and maintained steady growth, seeing fast-paced development in the international market. According to data from Canalys, OPPO's global shipments increased by nearly 38.6% YoY in Q4, 2018.

Locally, according to a recent data released by Canalys this February 2019, OPPO has secured 24% market share as of Q4 2018. OPPO today is one of the top smartphone choices for Filipino consumers.

The F11 Pro also comes equipped with a 6.5-inch full HD+ screen, featuring a screen-to-body ratio of 90.9%. In particular, the F11 Pro features a hidden front camera module to free up space for its full screen display.

Ultimately, the F11 series also succeeds in upgrading the overall user experience. The F11 series comes equipped with a 4,000mAh battery which is 500 mAh higher than the previous F series smartphone.
