IN partnership with ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation Inc. – Bantay Bata 163, AG New World Manila Bay Hotel and New World Makati Hotel will hold the fifth iteration of Run and Raise next year on January 20, 2019.
“New World Manila Bay and New World Makati are joining forces to do a greater good. It started with New World Makati and we’ve been a supporter ever since. This is very important for us. Being part of the community and we’d love to do this every year,” said New World Manila Bay Hotel General Manager Mark John Heywood.
Since it started in 2015, the charity fun run which meets an increasing number of participants and supporters aims to raise educational funds for nine scholars from various parts of the country.
“Education is one of the core pillars of our social responsibility position. Education is a fundamental and essential foundation for everyone’s livelihood,” said Heywood. “There are many less fortunate people in our society and it is important for the company to be able to extend our support wherever we can.”
The race will be moved from its past Rajah Sulayman route to Liwasang Ulalim CCP Complex grounds, a well-known terrain for enthusiasts and seasoned runners in the metro and registration fees are priced at PHP 550 (3k), PHP 650 (5k), PHP 800 (10k), and PHP 950 (16k).
Race kits are inclusive of a singlet, race bib, finisher’s medal while the 16k runners will also receive a finisher’s shirt and the winners of each category will receive exclusive gifts from AG New World Manila Bay Hotel and New World Makati Hotel.
