For Baseco

Senator Cynthia A. Villar shares a laugh with Manila Rep. Crystal Bagatsing (in red jacket) and volunteers as she plants a mangrove sapling at Gasangan, Barangay 649 in Baseco, Manila to ensure the continuous flow of water in the vicinity and prevent the onset of water-borne diseases. The senator also gave out 300 toilets bowls to households in the area to address the problem of poor sanitation, which has been made worse by the practice of open defecation due to the lack of toilets.
