HERMOSA, Bataan”•True to its commitment to help communities, the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines has donated P2.785 million to the Hermosa local government for the rehabilitation of drug reformists.

A memorandum of agreement was signed by NGCP Corporate Initiatives and Advocacies Division Head Lida May C. Lopez, TESDA Bataan Director Virginia Bondoc, Police Bataan Director Marcelo Dayag, and Hermosa Mayor Jopet Inton for the program dubbed “Bukas na Pintuan Tungo sa Pagbabago” in a ceremony on Monday at municipal hall.

“NGCP is grateful to help especially host communities,” said NGCP president and CEO Anthony Almeda in a message read by the state firm’s OIC Head of Right of Way Division Atty. Yasha Paredes.

“We hope the fund we donated will be able to truly help drug reformists,” Almeda added.

Hermosa is the 4th town in Bataan to receive donation from NGCP for the drug reformists’ rehabilitation program that started in 2016, Lopez said.
