Malacañang said the administration will continue to “work tirelessly” as it welcomed the latest Social Weather Stations survey results showing a higher net satisfaction rating for President Rodrigo Duterte’s Cabinet.

The SWS survey showed the Cabinet’s net satisfaction rating rose from “moderate” to “good” in the third quarter at 32 percent in September from only 25 percent in June.

“Notwithstanding the favorable survey numbers, the members of the official family of the President will not grow complacent in addressing national issues but will continue to work tirelessly as we lay down the foundation of a stronger and more robust society,” Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo said.

Panelo said the survey result only showed the public trusted the administration even when the inflation rate reached record-high in the past few months.

“Since the survey was conducted during the month of September when inflation was at 6.7 percent, the findings tell us that our people, indeed, recognize and appreciate the efforts of the administration in stabilizing the prices of basic commodities and bringing a comfortable and dignified life for all,” he added.

SWS said the six-point improvement in the overall net satisfaction rating of the Cabinet was due to increases of 11 points in Balance Luzon, eight points in Mindanao, and six points in the Visayas, combined with a five-point decrease in Metro Manila.
