Dinalupihan, Bataan”•The Department of Agrarian Reform has delivered approved certificate of land ownership awards (CLOAs) to farmers here.
“Our farmers are busy cultivating their lands, so we ourselves at DAR Bataan bring to them the approved CLOA documents,” said Engineer Eric San Luis, Provincial Agrarian Reform officer for Bataan and Zambales.
San Luis personally delivered the CLOA documents to beneficiaries in towns of Dinalupihan and Orani.
“One time we arrived at the house of a beneficiary, he was still in his farm and was fetched, and was extremely happy to see the approved CLOA we brought him,” he narrated.
“This is service to the public especially to farmers. We are doing the program in the entire province,” San Luis added.
Those who can apply for CLOA are the actual cultivators of land, he explained.
“Farmers who are given opportunity to own the lands they are tilling, should make them productive,” the official said.
