Manila Broadcasting Co. will mount the 2018 MBC National Choral Competitions on Dec. 4 to 8, 2018 at the Aliw Theater.
Schools, churches, residential communities, offices, and special interest groups are invited to take part in the competition, which will be conducted in two divisions: children’s choirs (for participants up to the age of 16), and the open category. P100,000 will go to the grand champion in the children’s division, and P150,000 are at stake for this year’s open category champion.
Interested choirs should send an audition packet consisting of a high-quality video of the group (taken not more than 6 months before) and the application form to the 2018 MBC National Choral Competitions, Manila Broadcasting Co., Sotto Street, CCP Complex, Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City (tel 555.3477). Audition packets must be received at the MBC head office, Sotto Street, CCP Complex, Pasay City on or before October 15, 2018. The video may also be posted on YouTube, with the link and application form emailed to [email protected] on or before the date mentioned.
