It was a tight five-way battle among Milo Rivera, his brother Estefano Rivera, Richard Gallardo, Douglas Maningding and Inigo Anton entering the second half of the 2018 Phoenix Pulse Technology National Slalom Series.
In the end, Milo Rivera of Tough Gear Racing Team won the overall and Production best time of the day by clocking 49.02 in the seventh leg held at Robinsons, Novaliches.
Rivera was followed by Anton of Mark Young Race Cars with 49.24, while Gallardo of JAF Racing Team placed third with 49.28.
Estefano Rivera (49.94) and Maningding of Speedmode Racing Team (50.06) came in fourth and fifth, respectively. Ronz Yuzon of JAF Racing Team was sixth overall with 50.44.
For the Production Best Time, the Rivera brothers Milo and Estefano won first and second place, respectively, followed by Maningding, JC Alberto (51.14) of Speedmode Racing Team and Joseph Ortega of Pongga Racing Team (52.42).
Meanwhile, Anton captured the Front Wheel best time, followed by Gallardo (2nd, 49.28), Yuzon (3rd, 50.44), Ram Rafanan (4th, 50.78), Powee Base (5th, 50.82), Vegil Calayo (6th, 51.08) and Dion Ortiz (7th, 51.32).
Rafanan of Speedjav Racing Team brought home the novice best time of 50.78, followed by Base of PMMS Rennsport Racing Team (50.82), Calayo (51.087) and Alberto (51.14).

The eighth leg will be held on Sept. 9 at the Tarlac Circuit Hill, with the ninth leg set on Sept. 22 and 23 at the Athletic Bowl, Baguio City.
