SEC chair to induct 2019 CMAP officers

Securities and Exchange Commission chairman Emil Aquino will induct today the new board of directors of the Credit Management Association of the Philippines led by Luis Arriola as its reelected president for the fiscal year 2018-2019.

The other officers are Jezreel  Pimentel of Chinabank Savings as vice president; Tina Maulion of Directories Philippines, treasurer; Lhen Mañeja of Puregold Finance Inc., assistant treasurer; Melinda Clarin of Store Specialist Inc., corporate secretary; and Roderick Vinluan of Quanta Paper Corp., assistant corporate secretary.

CMAP committee chairpersons are Jezreel Pimentel (China Bank Savings, Inc.) for Credit Information Service and Technology; Juancho Magpantay (Security Bank Corp.), Credit Education and Research; Reynaldo Concepcion (Bank of Commerce), Membership; Roderick Vinluan (Quanta Paper Corp.), Legal and Ethics; Melinda Clarin (Stores Specialists Inc.), Program and Sports; Melinda Alvarez (Phinma Property Holdings Corp.), Social Involvement; and Arnaldo Bacabac, Jr. (Orix Metro Leasing and Finance Corp.), Credit Congress.

CMAP is now 86 years old and its theme for this year is “CMAP at the Forefront of Fintech Evolution.”

The induction will be held at Shangri-La Hotel Makati.
