As it marks its three successful years on the air, Sunday PinaSaya remains unbeatable and continues to reign every week with its unique brand of humor and entertainment.
GMA First Vice President for Program Management Joey Abacan related the palpable reason behind SPS’s success is the strong bond formed among the show’s circle of hosts, management, and staff.
“Believe it or not, the show that makes people laugh and entertained every Sunday is a product of the joy of the beautiful working relationship of the people on and off the camera. I also believe that there is commanded blessing in harmony, hence we are celebrating our third year on air,” remarked Abacan.
With the theme “Samahang Puno Ng Saya,” the country’s number one Sunday noontime habit showcases an exciting series of performances featuring the all-star cast of Sunday Pinasaya dubbed as SPS Kasaya Showcase.
Members of the cast are divided into four groups led by Comedy Queen Ai Ai Delas Alas, comedians Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola and Marian Rivera. The performances of each group are written, choreographed, directed, and conceptualized by the cast members themselves.
“Through SPS Kasaya Showcase, we want to show to our viewers the chemistry and friendship among the cast on and off camera,” said Rams David, Supervising Producer of Sunday Pinasaya.
Ai Ai leads Barbie Forteza, Kim Last, Kyline Alcantara, Lovely Abella, and Jerald Napoles.
“They have to get ready for Team AiAi’s surprise. We have prepared an explosive production. First time naming gagawin yung mga production numbers namin dito,” AiAi affirmed.
Meanwhile, Bianca Umali, Miguel Tanfelix, Boobsie, Joey Paras, and Julie Anne San Jose perform are under Jose’s leadership.
“We made sure that we’d present something different,” Jose noted adding that the effort of every cast member in their upcoming production numbers is commendable.
Wally’s teammates include Andre Paras, Gladys Guevarra, Taki Saito, Valeen Montenegro, and Alden Richards.
He is excited to share what his group prepared, “For sure matutuwa at masisiyahan ang mga Kapuso sa ipapakita naming production numbers. More than that, we enjoyed preparing for our prod.”
Team Marian is composed of Jak Roberto, Pekto Nacua, Justin Dimandal, Ryzza Mae Dizon and Ruru Madrid.
“They should watch out for Team Marian. I’m confident that my members will show kung gaano sila kagaling magpatawa, kumanta at sumayaw kaya hindi nila dapat ito palampasin,” Marian invited the viewers.
