More than a hundred fans took part in the second Blood Donation Drive held by the PBA on Saturday.

Players and coaches showed up at the upper box lobby of the Smart Araneta Coliseum to support the PBA Blood Donation Project held in partnership with Dugong Alay, Dugtong Buhay, a non-stock, non-profit organization, headed by founder Nap Marilag and the Doctors and Nurses of Philippine Orthopedic Center, and the Margarito Duavit Hospital.

Players and coaches also showed up at the upper box lobby of the Smart Araneta Coliseum to support the worthy cause held in partnership with Dugong Alay, Dugtong Buhay, a non-stock, non-profit organization headed by founder Nap Marilag and the Doctors and Nurses of Philippine Orthopedic Center, and the Margarito Duavit Hospital.

The players present, however, were no longer compelled to donate their blood with the playoffs of the Commissioner’s Cup set to start Monday.

Commissioner Willie Marcial was also around to supervise the event held just before the doubleheader between Rain or Shine versus TnT Katropa and Magnolia against defending champion San Miguel Beer.

At least more than 80 bags of blood were collected from the various donors, who were all given free upper box tickets, snacks, and souvenir shirts from the PBA and Dugong Alay, Dugtong Buhay Inc.
