Jerson Prado shot 15 points in carrying the Fighting Maroons to a 75-60 demolition of Manuel L. Quezon University.
The Fighting Maroons went on to take the top spot with their third straight victory.
The Knights are behind the Maroons at 2-1.
In other games, University of the East prevailed over National University, 80-72, with Alvin Pasaol hitting 18 points.
UE shares the same 1-1 win-loss slate with MLQU, which drew 12 points from Robert de Guzman as they downed University of Asia and Pacific, 84-36.
