Ahead of the income tax-filing deadline on April 16, selected LandBank branches and extension offices will be open on Saturday, April 14, to accept tax payments.

Banking hours will likewise be extended up to 5 p.m. during weekdays up to April 16, in compliance with the Bureau of Internal Revenue’s Bank Bulletin requiring all BIR-Authorized Agent Banks to extend banking hours prior to the income tax payment deadline.

For the complete list of LandBank branches operating on extended banking hours, visit www.landbank.com.

To avoid the inconvenience of long queues that come with the tax season, the Bank urges taxpayers to pay their dues online through the LandBank Link.BizPortal—an alternative channel that offers a safer and more convenient means to pay government fees anytime, anywhere.

To avail of the epayment facility, taxpayers must first file their tax return through eBIR Forms that can be accessed through the BIR website. Once filing is completed, they can visit the LandBank website, go to the e-Banking tab and click on LandBank Link.BizPortal.

In the LandBank Link.BizPortal window, the taxpayers will have to do the following:

1. Enter BIR for the merchant name.

2. Select tax payment as transaction type.

3. Choose LandBank ATM for payment mode.

Tax payment details and LandBank ATM account information will be required to proceed with the online payment. Once submitted, a payment confirmation will be displayed, which will also be sent in the email that the client will provide.

Paying electronically is initially available for individual and non-individual taxpayers and tax agents who maintain Peso ATM Savings and Current Accounts with LandBank. Soon, this payment facility will also be available for Bancnet-member banks, and internationally branded cards as additional payment option for taxpayers.

The LANDBANK Link.BizPortal forms part of the Bank’s continuing efforts to help streamline payment of government fees.
