THE Quezon City Police District has arrested a namesake of actress Maricel Soriano for drug involvement.
Chief Supt. Guillermo Eleazar, QCPD director, said a concerned citizen tipped off the police of the presence of Soriano, 37, along with her two companions—Jerald Sese, 32, and Cedric Ferreros, 40—in a shabu session at 3 Palawan St., Bago Bantay in Barangay Sto. Cristo last Monday at 8 p.m.
Responding policemen caught the suspects in the act of using shabu.
Meanwhile, authorities also nabbed Allan Vivero, 25, and David Brianes, 37, while patrolling on Epifanio delos Santos Avenue in Barangay Veterans Village, Project 7. They caught Vivero with a gun tucked in his waistline last Monday at 8:30 p.m.
Police also seized two sachets of shabu from the suspects.
