Shangri-La Plaza gathers the most soulful balladeers and musical sensations starting with international artist Calum Scott who performed new hits and well-loved classics especially for mall guests this March.
Yesterday at 6:00 p.m., former Britain’s Got Talent finalist Calum Scott staged the Exclusive Live Performance at the Grand Atrium. The Philippines was the singer’s first Asian stop on his worldwide tour as he launches his highly anticipated debut album Only Human on March 9.
Calum’s Shang performance gave fans and music lovers their only chance to catch the chart-topping English singer perform live in Manila.
Mall guests can also enjoy Shang’s Throwback Thursdays featuring the greatest hits throughout the decades as they shop and dine at the East Wing. Shang’s Throwback Thursdays begins on March 8 with a playlist of memorable songs from iconic artist Barry Manilow, March 15 with ABBA, and March 22 will feature the Carpenters, and performed by the Bernie Pasamba Quartet.
Shang is also a great supporter of OPM and will feature South Border and their famous RnB classics like ‘Rainbow’ and “Kahit Kailan.” Witness South Border perform all-time favorites from their Platinum records at 7:00 p.m. on March 10 at the East Atrium.
Also on March 10, all girl acoustic group The Three of Us with – Ivy Hermogenes, Thea Panaguiton, and Adora San Pedro –puts their own spin on popular songs at 6:30 p.m. at the East Atrium.
Continuing the OPM series, is former Side A front man Joey Generoso who rounds up the month’s musical line-up with a performance of his newest rock ballads on March 24, 7:00 p.m., at the Grand Atrium.
