This time Aldin Ayo is taking his sweet time, not confirming nor denying his coaching job with the University of Sto. Tomas men’s basketball team.
Ayo’s fate will be known once he returns to Manila after spending the holidays in Sorsogon.
Talks on his possible transfer to the University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers will most probably be known before the week is up.
Ayo said no formal talks have taken between him and officials of UST as of this writing.
His four-month contract with the La Salle Green Archers ended in 2017.
In his two-year tenure for the Green Archers, Ayo registered a record of 30 wins and 5 losses in the UAAP, with one championship and one runner-up finish.
Assistant coach Louie Gonzales was named La Salle interim coach following Ayo’s exit.
