“Our goal is to reach one out of five Filipinos in the next three to five years. We can do that by enabling their lifestyle through their smartphones, a platform that is perfectly capable of adding convenience,” explains Anthony Thomas, president and chief executive officer of Mynt, the financial technology company of Globe Telecom. “From there, we can enable other aspects of their lifestyle like going to the mall, the cinema or the food court and enable an even bigger set of the population. If you give people more reasons to use GCash in their daily lives, then you create adoption.”

“Ultimately, what we want to do is to provide a better life to Filipinos,” he adds.

The GCash App is available on Google Play and App Store. For more details, visit www.globe.com.ph.
