The 25th Travel Tour Expo unwraps on Feb. 9 this year at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay, with a formal launch on Jan. 8 at the Aura Ballroom of the Golden Phoenix Hotel along Macapagal Boulevard and Sunrise Drive in Pasay City.
Organized by the Philippine Travel Agencies Association, the Travel Tour Expo is the country’s biggest annual travel and tourism event.
Held yearly at the SMX in Pasay, TTE is participated in by hotels, resorts, airlines, theme parks, cruise lines, travel agencies, and tour operators from the Philippines and across the world. National tourism organizations, embassies, and Philippine government agencies also participate in the expo.
Coinciding with its opening in February is the third installment of the International Travel Trade Expo, the business-to-business component of TTE, which will feature tourism companies from more than 20 countries networking with their counterparts from the PTAA.
Expected to be present during the launch are the TTE organizing committee led by its chairperson and current PTAA president Marlene Dado Jante. They will be joined by officials from the Department of Tourism, Philippine Airlines, and Citibank.
