The BiGuel loveteam of Bianca Umali and Miguel Tanfelix will have two breakthroughs this month in their careers—they will be headlining a TV show with more mature roles on GMA-7’s newest primetime series tentatively titled Santa Santita

They are also with Paolo Ballesteros in Barbie: D’Wonder Beki, showing in theaters now.

BiGuel, the most durable love team on the Kapuso Network or/and one of the most successful reel couples of their generation, has a very “millenialish kilig” role in the Tony Y. Reyes’ directed movie co-produced by OctoArts Films, T-Rex Productions and M-Zet.

Will they become lucky charms for Paolo Ballesteros’ first foray into a commercial movie?

Both have been quick to reply when visited on their movie set, “Hopefully. Sana nga!”

Will they replicate their “kilig” first kiss in their Wish I May on TV last year?

Since both are now grown up – Miguel is now 19, and Bianca will soon be turning 18 – are they ready for a more passionate kiss and not just a smack like what we saw on the boob tube?

Miguel is more definite with his answers. He is always handy when tackling any roles required, including a torrid kiss both on TV and movies.

But Bianca is still understandably hesitant, she being a minor. She’s giving the final decision making to her handlers over GMAAC.

Aside from Paolo Ballesteros, internationally-and-locally-awarded in Die Beautiful, Barbi: D’Wonder Beki features Joey de Leon, the actor who played the Barbi originally, Kim Domingo and Ejay Falcon.
