The entire province of Zambales is expected be the country’s major tourist and economic hub in the next 20 years.
Zambales Governor Amor Deloso said he is optimistic the province would not only dominate the entire region, but also rise as a global stage for tourism, trade and commerce.
Deloso said billions of pesos in investments and construction projects are set to be implemented by both local and foreign investors in the province over the next 10 years.
A part of the 10-year economic boost plan is the construction of Zambales Convention Center and the provincial capitol in January next year.
“The construction of this convention center will answer the needs of all sectors here for purposes of all sectors here for seminars and conventions of big groups,” Deloso said.
“We are strategically situated, we are only four hours away from Hong Kong and other Asian countries through navigation. The world is getting congested but here in our provice, there is a vast resource for land, seas and mountains and it’s about time we turn things around, said Deloso.
