ROOKIE team Commission on Audit Enablers will face the GSIS Furies at 2 p.m. this Sunday in the UNTV Cup Season 6 at the Pasig City Sports Center.
Enablers’ coach Freddie Hubalde admitted his side needs to step up its preparations in order to get a win.
“Nakita na namin sila (Furies), so siguro magdo-double effort kami sa depensa. At saka talagang kailangang madagdagan pa ang stamina ng player, kasi kinukulang kami pagka nagta-transition defense,” the basketball legend said.
Both teams have yet to win this season, with the Furies having played two games and the Enablers in three.
Ex-pro basketball players Estong Ballesteros and Arnold Gamboa are expected to lead the COA team.
On the other hand, Rene Boy Banzali and Dennis Bunyi will spearhead the GSIS team.
Meanwhile, Sunday’s second game at 3:30 p.m. will be packed with action as the Department of Agriculture Food Masters take on Malacañang-PSC Kamao.
The third game at 5:30 p.m. features powerhouse team Senate Defenders and defending champion PNP Responders.
