Continuing our conversation with Heart Evangelista-Escudero recently, we drifted to the topic of motherhood. She giggled when she heard our question, “Are you and Chiz planning to have a baby soon?” And she, without hesitation answered, “Oo naman. It’s about time. Yeah, it’s about time. I think it’s time. You know I’m so scared.”
Heart has been buying baby items for quite some time now. In fact, she also has a nursery in the house she had built for her and Chiz. She said, “No, there isn’t a crib yet. In fact, there’s nothing in it yet.”
She hopes her friends would gift her what she would need for the baby.
“Oo. Pero ‘yung mga little things, like when I travel, ‘yung mga blankets, pillows. ‘Nung nagpagawa ako ng bahay, meron nang kwarto doon. So, may cabinet na, ‘dun ko sya nilalagay. Yung mga iba lang. Kunyari may mga sale,” Heart said.
Heart’s new house has four rooms, “I really planned it na four kasi, two kids, si Chiz; my baby and Chiz, ‘cause I only want one.”
She added that one baby for her and Chiz is okay.
We asked her what if she’d conceive quadruplets? She was horrified at the idea saying, “Grabe naman. Isa lang, it’s not for ano, but I think I wanna make sure na, I give them the best, alam mo ‘yun. So, to make sure na okay sila. I think that’s smart. Just a right family.
Heart stays most of the time in the nursery, “Well, the nursery kasi ‘dun ako nagpe-paint habang wala pa kong taping. And ‘yung office ko, ‘yung attic.”
She said she is painting bags again, “I stopped kasi I’m working with my clutch line. So, medyo mahirap ‘yung clutch line ko. Matagal, mabusisi. I’m working on that and then, I’m working also, I’m finishing my 2018 collection for painting ulit. Now I’m on my 20th painting. I did those in between taping.”

In separate Instagram posts of Heart and Alexander on Chiz’s birthday where the entire cast of of Fil-Korean novela attended the celebration, the stars of My Korean Jagiya even found time to teach Chiz and his guests how to make finger heart.
Everyone at the party had a good time with both Heart and Alexander along with the other members of the cast.
