The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology conducted a random inspection at the municipal jail in Sta. Cruz, Laguna under ‘Oplan Greyhound’ on Sunday headed by Jail Chief Inspector Warren Geronimo (left), the District Jail Warden. With the Sta. Cruz police and local firemen, the BJMP team went through six cells of 350 prisoners, including 38 women, and recovered improvised icepicks, knives, cigarettes, toothbrushes, umbrellas, pen, scissors—but no drugs or drug paraphernalia.
