ACTOR Baron Geisler is in trouble again, this time facing criminal charges before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office for unruly behavior inside a restobar on Tomas Morato Avenue.

The Quezon City Police District’s Station 10 arrested Geisler inside the restaurant beside Hotel Rembrandt on Monday past 9 p.m. The actor was charged with unjust vexation and alarm and scandal by the restobar management.

Nora Quilang, the establishment’s general manager, said Geisler entered the restobar and drank with two male companions from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The duo paid the bill and tried to convince the actor to leave the place with them.

“But he [Geisler] refused and stayed. Despite the ban on Geisler, the management still showed respect to him and allowed him to order and drink,” Quilang told the Manila Standard.

When his friends left the TGIF, Geisler became unruly. He pushed one of the security guards of the restobar, shouted and hurled invectives at the customers, prompting Quilang to seek police assistance.

At Police Station 10 in Kamuning district, the 35-year-old actor also shouted at the police officers and other members of the media.

A source said Geisler went inside Hotel Rembrandt and played piano without asking for permission from the management.

“The hotel did not want to speak about it and just kept silent,” she added.

Quilang said Geisler posted bad remarks about her on his Facebook account.

Jay Sangalang and Donny Geisler, the actor’s lawyer and brother, respectively, arrived at the Quezon City Hall of Justice and apologized to Quilang, who was determined to pursue charges to teach Geisler a lesson.

“I do not know why I was handcuffed. I am not a criminal. Policemen are just power-tripping,” Geisler told the Manila Standard.

After the inquest proceedings, authorities brought Geisler back to the detention facility of Station 10, and advised him to post bail on Wednesday.

The actor has gained notoriety for several altercations in the past few years, apparently from drunken behavior. In November, Geisler urinated on his co-star Ping Medina during filming.
