Heart’s A-1 PR makes her an exceptional celebrity

Not many female stars as big as Heart Evangelista-Escudero manifests an exceptional ability to mingle with just about anybody, of any socio-economic status, political affinity, or religion. That’s what makes this pretty star of My Korean Jagiya in a class all her own and at a level that is nonpareil.

At the recent opening of the uppity fashion stare at Greenbelt 5, CH Carolina Herrera, it was revealed that she is the brand’s ambassador in the Philippines.

And, why not, after all, the actress has been rubbing elbows with the fashion’s biggest names in Paris, including those that parlay the most expensive leather goods in the world.

Didn’t you know that Singaporean author Kevin Kwan himself said that Heart’s painted Hermes bags is a must have. For someone who doesn’t know the TV/movie star personally to say that he must have found Heart’s painted bags really extraordinary and something to collect.

Kwan is the author of Crazy Rich Asian that is now the basis for a film with the same title in production in Hollywood.

Kwan’s statement of Heart’s painted bags appeared in an article on Nymag.com entitled “What to Buy to Look Like: A Crazy Rich Asian,”

“When it comes to luggage, old-money CRAs (Crazy Rich Asians) love Globe-Trotter, though preferably handed down from their grandparents rather than something brand new. For new-money CRAs, it’s all about a customized Goyard or Hermès weekend bag hand-painted by Heart Evangelista, who’s a Filipino actress and accomplished painter. Then, of course, they’ll post about all the fabulous places they’re going on their Instagram, which should have at least 100,000 followers.”

(Underscoring by the columnist)

Believe it or not, Heart is also in the Top 10 Hermes Instagram Accounts To Follow according to spottedfashion.com. She joins socialites and models all over the world in the list who possess a collection of Hermes bags.

And she’s at no. 2 (2. Love Marie Ongpauco Escudero – Love Marie Ongpauco Escudero, also known as Heart Evangelista, is an actress from the Philippines. She is an avid collector of Hermes bags and also paints on them. She had an exhibition once showcasing her paintings, check out the #lovemariehandpaintedbags to see her painted designer bags. She even met Hermes executive Michael Coste who invited him to see the secret garden on a Paris rooftop.)

Wow. That’s really something. And none among her peers in the industry has come close.

Here’s a bit of good news, My Korean Jagiya shows strong performance on her timeslot, and seems the new show on the other network is having a hard time knocking it off from the ratings game. Something that can make Heart smile along with co-star Alexander Lee and husband Senator Chiz Escudero.
