THE Adamson Falcons have only four veterans in their roster.

But the team is one of the favorites to make it to the Final Four of the coming 80th University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) men’s basketball tournament.

The Falcons have big guys like the 6’5” Dawn Ochea, 6’5” Simin Camacho, the 6’8” Pappi Sarr and 6’5” Christian Bernardo. They also have a deadly shooter in Terrence Mustre.

And there’s two newcomers, 6’6” Tyrus Hill and newcomer Jerie Pingoy. They could make the season interesting with their presence.

“We hope to perform better than last season,” said Falcons coach Franz Pumaren.

Last season, the Falcons made it to the Final Four before they bowed to the La Salle Green Archers.

What will make Hill’s presence interesting will be his inside presence with  the high-flyer in Manganti as they try to provide reinforcement to Sarr.

On the other hand,  Pingoy will be playing his first game in the league after transferring from Ateneo and from Far Eastern University.

Also in the roster are Nicholas Paranada, a 5’10 point guard, and sophomore from Foothills Christian High School, 6’1 Jonathan Espeleta and West Negros University find Kobe Vizcarra.

They will be counting of Robbie Manalang, Jerrick Ahanmisi,  Japeth David another Fil-Am recruit Leo Frias.
