The leadership of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority declared in the presence of President Rodrigo Duterte that the agency is corruption- and illegal drug-free, during its 23rd anniversary celebration.
Tesda director general Guiling Mamondiong said the agency’s declaration is in support of the government’s intensified campaign against illegal drugs and corruption.
“We want the President and the whole country to know that Tesda fully upholds this administration’s stance against drugs and corruption. We will not tolerate these cancers of society, and will exert all efforts to help eradicate them,” Mamondiong said.
Upon the President’s arrival at Tesda, he was welcomed by Mamondiong, Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello, and Cabinet Secretary Leoncio Evasco.
Duterte toured the exhibit area before he proceeded to the program proper.
Later, Mamondiong presented to Duterte the major accomplishments of Tesda during his term.
