17-year-old Kian Loyd delos Santos is now being laid to rest.
As of 11 am on Saturday, the funeral convoy is heading towards La Loma Cemetery in Quezon City.
Hundreds of people, led by his family, relatives, friends, supporters and militant group members, are joining the procession.
Kian's casket has been placed on board a truck bedecked with flowers.
Earlier, a funeral mass was held for Kian at Sta. Quiteria in Caloocan City.
Towards the end of the mass, his father Saldy spoke.
He said it was just not possible for Kian to be involved in illegal drugs given the kind of person he was – always wanting to help in watching over their store.
He urged the killers of his son to go to mass and examine their conscience.
Before the mass, a brief program was held and remarks were made by people who tried to comfort Kian's family.
On the way to church, the funeral procession made a brief stop in front of Caloocan City Community Police Precinct 7.
This is the police station where the three cops tagged in Kian's death were assigned.
