Congressman Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez and Manuel M. Lazaro, president and chairman/CEO, respectively, of the Philippine Constitution Association announced that Secretary Delfin N. Lorenzana of the Department of National Defense, will be the Guest of Honor and Speaker in Philconsa’s monthly membership meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017, at 6:30 in the evening at the Diamond Ballroom, Diamond Hotel.
Lorenzana is expected to speak on the measures undertaken by the government to address and quell the Marawi rebellion.
The National Anthem will be led by Associate Dean Rita Linda V. Jimeno, VP FOR Constitutional Reforms. The Invocation will be delivered by Nelia T. Gonzales, Governor. The Phillconsa Creed will be led by Retired Gen. Hermogenes C. Esperon, National Security Adviser. The welcome remarks will be delivered by Cong. Martin G. Romualdez, Philconsa President. The new members will be presented by Retired Lt. Gen. Edilberto P. Adan, to be inducted by Retired Chief Justice Reynato S. Puno, President Emeritus, assisted by Retired Justice Bernardo P. Pardo. The Guest of Honor and Speaker will be introduced by Retired Gen. Dionisio R. Santiago, Governor/Chairman, Dangerous Drugs Board. Immediately after Secretary Delfin N. Lorenzana’s speech, an open forum will be conducted. Atty. Rodolfo O. Reyes, Vice President for NCR, will act as Moderator. Ret. Omb. Aniano A. Desierto will act as Master of Ceremonies.
