4 suspected NPAs killed in Sorsogon

Four (4) suspected members of the New People's Army are killed in Casiguran, Sorsogon.

This comes as a result of the fighting between the suspected communist rebels and a joint team of police and military.

The clash took place at around 5 am on Friday in Barangay Trece Martires.

It lasted for about half an hour.

Soldiers and cops battled with about 30 suspected NPAs.

The fatalities reportedly include Andres Jubilla, who was said to be among the leaders of the NPAs operating in Bicol.

Government troops did not sustain any casualty.
