It wasn’t an innocent question, it’s actually our lead to ask Nadine Lustre, who had her first public outing on Thursday a few days after she rested her voice, whether she thinks she’s a modern woman or not.
She paused for a while, obviously thinking, then decided to decline answering the question. The people that organized the event, which witnessed her renewal of ties with the company that specializes on digital technology, cut the interview short. Apparently, the newly-crowned FHM sexiest woman didn’t want to answer any personal questions especially it involves her boyfriend.
Rumors have been circulating that she’s been living in with James Reid, her boyfriend for more than a year now. And when asked if she’s living in with on-screen love team partner, she answered the question candidly.
“If that was true, so what? ‘Di ba, it’s not new anymore,” she told TV Patrol. “Come on guys, it’s 2017.”
But she still didn’t reveal the truth to the rumors. She just said that she knows of younger couples who are already living in together.
“I’m not gonna confirm, I’m not gonna deny. But then, ano naman (so what)?” she said.
It seems that Nadine is now more careful whenever she’s in front of the press. Perhaps, she can’t still let go of her sweet image amid her constant claim that she’d be more bold and daring in the next coming months.
