LILIW, Laguna—Police Regional Office-Calabarzon recently launched its “Drug Free Home” Project at the Liliw Covered Court in Barangay Pag-asa here, with Police Regional Director Chief Supt. Ma. O R Aplasca leading local officials.

The highlight of the activity was the application of “Drug Free Home” stickers on the walls of the homes of residents along Barangay Rizal in Liliw, as certified by the barangay council and Barangay Captain Celeste Salariosa as free of illegal drugs.

The project is an extension of the PRO 4A’s Drug Free Family project in 2015. Aplasca said they changed its name to Drug Free Home “in realization that Filipinos observe extended families or multiple families residing in one household.”

The event launch started with an opening prayer led by Pastor Jann Ryan Cordoves, followed by welcome remarks from Liliw Mayor Ericson J Sulibit. Police Supt. Elmar B Sillador, Chief of the Regional Police Community Relations Division, presented an overview of the project.
