In celebration of its 15th year of providing arts services through documentation and promotion of locally available art production technology and resources, ARTIST Production Accessories and Resource Services Association Inc. (ARTIST-PARS) will launch a four-day camp in cooperation with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts.

The camp, entitled “Sa Aking Kabata: Youth Camp on Arts, Heritage and Environment” will be held on Aug. 2 to 5, 2017 at the University of the Philippines Los Baños.

The gathering aims to enrich the youth’s knowledge of preserving the environment and addressing concerns in natural disasters, while honing their creative skills and capability to produce new works by utilizing locally available arts resources and cultural practices.

Included components of the camp are heritage tours, workshops, lecture-forums, and community and heritage-site interactions. Interested individuals aged 18 to 30 years old may apply and join.
