The House Committees on Games and Amusement, Public Order and Safety and Tourism have resumed their investigation into the Resorts World Manila (RWM) attack.

On their second hearing on Wednesday morning, lawmakers were shown videos inside the casino and hotel recorded by CCTV cameras of RWM at past 12 midnight or on June 2, 2017.

The footages showed the assailant Jessie Carlos setting ablaze some casino tables.

He also roamed around the corridors and headed to a stock room where chips were stored.

At one point, Carlos walked past two individuals who were hiding.

He told the two persons to get out.

Some members of the House of Representatives noticed the lack of sprinklers as smoke from the fire set by Carlos was beginning to engulf some areas in the establishment.

RWM said it is showing the videos to show the fear of the people who were hiding.

Invited to the proceeding today include the security personnel of RWM.

The resource persons are answering questions posed by legislators led by House Majority Leader Rodolfo Fariñas.
