Health workers and Masons join forces

ARITAO, Nueva Vizcaya—More than 300 children and adults here recently received free medical and dental services from health workers and civil society organizations in the province.

Dr. Jojo Gonzales, medical mission coordinator, said 303 children were given free circumcision and 45 patients received free dental services recently in Mt. Ynordenan in Barangay Bone South in this town.

“The patients were also given free medicines covering the surgical and dental services given,” he said.

The annual medical mission was sponsored by the Veterans Regional Hospital in Bayombong town, the Masonic Lodges of Aritau, Salinas, Magat, Guillermo Bongolan, Scottish Rite Cagayan Valley Bodies and Salinas, Aritau, and Sierra Madre Courts of the Order of the Amaranth.

The annual medical mission, which was started in 1983 by Dr. Cirilo Galindez, VRH chief, has benefited thousands of villagers in this town and neighboring municipalities.
