A Magnitude 4.4 earthquake jolted Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte on Monday morning.
The tremor occurred at 7:28 am.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) has located the center of the quake 22 kilometers northwest of Pagudpud.
It was tectonic in origin.
Phivolcs does not expect the earthquake to cause damage.
