Weather bureau PAGASA declares, it will be officially summer this coming weekend.
Weather forecaster Bennison Estareja says, PAGASA has released a statement announcing this development.
He also adds, as of today (Wednesday), cold winds from the northeast monsoon (‘amihan’) coming from mainland China will no longer prevail.
It has been replaced by the warm, hot weather or the easterlies brought by a high pressure area at the Pacific Ocean located at the right side of Japan.
Estareja says, dry season will engulf the archipelago in the coming days.
