Fire that burned a fuel cargo vessel has reportedly claimed the lives of five persons.
The victims were crew members of the boat.
The incident began at 8:15 pm on Monday.
Crew members were reportedly loading gasoline at the port of Zamboanga City when an explosion occurred.
A survivor said he jumped off the vessel with his father, but seven other personnel were left inside the boat.
The vessel was scheduled to transport gasoline to Sulu when the accident happened.
