PLDT Inc. on Tuesday announced another round of revamp among senior executives as it described 2016 a horrible year.

“This is the final revamp in terms of senior management. So this is your management team rise or fall,”  PLDT chairman Manuel Pangilinan said.

The country’s largest telecommunication company said it implemented leadership changes in line with digital transformation pivot. Pangilinan would remain president and chief executive until his replacement was found in 2017.  “For me, I would like to see some traction in terms of the revenues for PLDT in the course of 2017 and some improvements in core profitability and then that’s the time for me to let go if I can see that this management is on the right track,” Pangilinan said.

PLDT executive vice president Eric Alberto was appointed as chief revenue officer reporting to Pangilinan effective Dec. 1 while PLDT Global Corp. president Alex Caeg was appointed head of wireless consumer division sales and distribution of Smart.

Senior vice president Ray Espinosa was appointed chief corporate services officer. Ralph Burner was appointed chief customer  experience and data analytics advisor; Jerry Braceas as  chief information adviser; Liza Sichon as chief people and culture officer; Keith Walter, as IT transformation advisor of the business transformation office; Carlo Ople, as enterprise, international and carrier business digital marketing strategy head; and Joseph Nelson Ladaban as PLDT Group corporate-wide chief credit collection and churn management head.
