Winners from this year’s annual competition in the following categories are: Men’s Cut & Blow-Dry, China; Avant-Garde, China; Evening Party Make-up, Hong Kong; Bridal Make-up, Macau; Total Look, Taiwan; Evening Party Hairstyle, Taiwan and Nail Art, Philippines. Over-all Championship went to Macau.
Gracing the formal opening and ribbon-cutting were Senator Bam Aquino, Pasay City First Lady Edna Calixto, former First Lady Ming Ramos, businessman Hans Sy and Sri Lankan Ambassador Aruni Ranaraja.
A spectacular show was featured with the delegation from Korea, China, Japan, Thailand and the Philippines showcasing their native cultural dances in a unique and dazzling way and heartthrob Alden Richards serenading the guests with a special song number.
Ricky Reyes handed over the APHCA flag to South Korean country leader Eung Soo Kang where the 21st Hair Olympics will be held next year.
