Prople Inc., a leading Filipino business process outsourcing company, is set to expand its services to Southeast Asian countries.

Prople president and chief executive officers Ma. Alma Luz Borja said the Philippines offered a good market setting for BPO, especially for small and medium sized enterprises and big companies as well in Southeast Asia.

“Companies in the Asean are now more open to outsourcing in the Philippines because of its good business climate due to the successful political transition. This condition has raised us to the mainstream, highlighting Filipino work ethics and our capacity to meet the work standards necessary to do the job well,” she said in a briefing Tuesday.

The Information Technology and Business Process Association of the Philippines earlier projected the BPO industry to generate an estimated $25 billion in revenues by the end of 2016 and another 1.3 million jobs.

Prople attributed the growth of the BPO industry to its adherence to the demands of the global market.

“For instance, Filipinos are relatively fluent in speaking international languages. We also have no problems with following different time zones,” Borja said.

Expansion of services from voice to non-voice or third-party logistics is another factor in the growing demand for the Philippine BPO services.

Prople plans to serve companies in Southeast Asia with expertise in finance and accounting, human resource and tax and data management. The services are end-to-end, which means the processes are completely done and accomplished from the highest to the lowest tasks.

For finance and accounting, the company follows US standards for services on general accounting and strategic finance, as well as accounts payable and receivables. Other financial services include expense processing and management, documentation, payment processing and policy-based disbursements.

The company also offers human resource tasks such as benefits management, statutory compliance, HR information systems and payroll and timekeeping. Outsourcing these services is ideal because the tasks are usually done during specific periods in a month only.

Prople also provides best-in-breed data management using web-based tools and systems. It offers solutions for data capture, conversion, clean-up, organization, standardization, data mining and analysis.
