IMMIGRATION Commissioner Jaime Morente ordered the probe of immigration officers who allowed overseas Filipino workers to leave the country via the southern backdoor even without proper documents after five Filipino entertainers who worked illegally in South Korea arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
Morente also ordered IOs to be on the lookout for returning OFWs who left the country via the southern backdoor without proper documents so those responsible for their departure can be held liable for human trafficking. Vito Barcelo
