From Kapamilaya to Kapuso…that’s what Gabby Concepcion did when he inked an exclusive contract on Aug. 17 with GMA Network, Inc.
During the contract signing, Gabby said he is very honored and excited about this new milestone in his career as a Kapuso, “I am very, very grateful. I think it’s going to be a good year. Malapit na ang birthday ko so this is really a good birthday gift. Definitely, we are doing other shows in GMA.”
The Kapuso actor headlined the hit primetime series Because of You with Carla Abellana and Rafael Rosell. He became a household name because of his role in the show where he was tagged for his onscreen moniker “Boss Yummy.”
Gabby happily announced that the network has already lined up projects for him, “Meron kaming gagawing comedy show. Pahinga muna tayo sa drama. Magpapatawa at magpapasaya muna tayo ngayon. Kaya tuloy-tuloy nila akong mapapanood after ng role ko as Boss Yummy.”

Budding singer-composer Hanna Nolasco celebrated her 18th birthday with a masquerade dinner-dance ball last night at the Rizal Ballroom of Shangrila-La Makati Hotel. The debutante wore gowns by Renee Salud and Gideon Sy of Drezzee. McCoy de Leon of PBB Celebrity Edition was her escort.
The performers included Elmo Magalona, Davey Langit, grand winner of 2016 Himig Handog Songwriting Contest, Miguel Aguila, Garth Garcia and Mark Mabasa. Hannah herself dedicated two songs – “As Long as I’m Around You” and “More Than a Thank You,” –that Garth Garcia penned, to her doting and loving father, PAF retired Col. Ricardo L. Nolasco, Jr..
