The National Telecommunications Commission said it will comply with the request of the government’s anti-trust body to provide documents in the review of the P70-billion deal between PLDT Inc., Globe Telecom Inc. and San Miguel Corp.

NTC Deputy Commissioner Edgardo Cabarios said the regulator received a letter Friday from the Philippine Competition Commission, requesting for documents that would be used for the review of the joint buyout of San Miguel’s telecommunications  assets by PLDT and Globe.

Cabarios said the PCC asked for the list of base stations and frequencies of PLDT, Globe and the SMC Group as well as other documents.

“We will comply, there’s no problem,” Cabarios said.

Cabarios, however, said the agency could provide the co-use agreement of frequency between PLDT, Globe and San Miguel because the regulator did not have a copy of the document.
